Location: Bishop, CA
Compensation: $21–$24/hour (based on experience) + potential performance-based incentives
Type: Full-Time (40 hours), Monday–Friday

Position Summary
As a Driver Assistant/Merchandiser, you’ll ride along with our delivery drivers and work inside the accounts we serve – unloading product, stocking coolers and shelves, building displays, and rotating inventory so every account looks its best. Between routes, you’ll help keep our warehouse organized and staged for the next day. It’s a hands-on, physical role and one of the best entry points into the beverage distribution business.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Route Support: Ride with the delivery driver, unload product, and move it into accounts using hand trucks, dollies, or pallet jacks.
• Merchandising: Stock coolers, shelves, and displays; front and face product; keep our brand sets clean, full, and organized.
• Display Building: Build and maintain floor displays and end caps, and place point-of-sale materials as directed.
• Stock Rotation: Rotate product by date code, pull short-dated or damaged items, and report out-of-stocks to the driver or sales rep.
• Customer Relations: Represent Catalina Beverage professionally in every account and relay account needs back to the team.
• Warehouse Support: Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing inventory, and stage product for upcoming routes.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow safe lifting and handling protocols and promptly report any vehicle or equipment issues.

 
Qualifications

• Valid California driver’s license (Class C) and a clean driving record – no CDL required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to handle alcoholic beverage products.
• Prior merchandising, delivery, warehouse, grocery, or retail stocking experience is a plus – we’ll train the right person.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and up to 165 lbs. occasionally, and to be on your feet for a full shift.
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning start times.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
